From one talk to a new way of working
In April 2023, Dan spoke about AI in marketing at a business event in Penrith. theidol.com's Head of Marketing wrote to him the next day:
“Really enjoyed your talk and though I consider myself fairly tech-savvy the sheer scale and speed of AI advances right now is quicker than I have kept pace with.”
A year later, their marketing team was using AI for content writing, and Managing Director Paul Tyson asked Dan back to show teams across the business what was possible. After the session in September 2024, their IT Director wrote:
